I came upon your lovely website while searching for musical ecards to send to my farflung family. My daughter Samantha Hunt is dancing and fiddling with a group in England and I miss her this Saint Patrick's day. Thanks for the lovely photos and greetings. I shall be back, as my heart longs for the 'auld country' of my grandparents.

What a lovely place this is! It's almost like actually being in Ireland! Someday, perhaps, if it's God's will. Thank you for this beautiful web site and for the beautiful e-cards. When I get a few pennies set aside, I'll surely send them to you, to help support this wonderful, magical place. (smiling with gratitude)

I am a freshmen in college and am doing a research project on Irish Immigration to the US. I myself come from an irish background...but do not know much about my history. Looking to interview someone regarding immigration to the US from Ireland. Please email me back at sammijo4204@yahoo.com - I can do the interview via emails. Thanks!!

I received one of your cards from a friend which really made me smile! I then went on your site and proceeded to spend about an hour looking at all your photos! It brought back wonderful memories of my two trips to Ireland. I could see myself, my husband and our friends in so many of your shots. Thank you for your site. I hope you'll be adding more photos.

Two years ago, on March 17,1998, I was at the New York City Saint Patrick Day Parade. That day it felt like summer. I was standing by a large group of people, when suddenly I heard loud cheering. That was when I saw Mayor Rudolph Giuliani. I too began screaming his name and when he saw me, he ran over to me. It was wild; he shoved his security man out of the way to reach me! At that moment, that single solitary moment, he shook my hand. All the TV reporters took photos of the Mayor and me. I was dressed as an Irish clown, and you could see the smile on Mayor Giuliani's face. There were many other people in this photo, and their eyes showed wonder as the most famous Mayor in the whole world shook Danoe the Clown's hand. I made a lot of friends that day, and I hope to see them next Saint Patrick's Day. I wondered if my picture would be in the newspapers the next day, so that night, when I came back to R.I, I called the New York Mayor's office, and they sent a copy of the parade photo.

I love this website, happy and sad when I read it. If anyone from Cross, County Clare will read this message I would love to hear from them. Left this happy village over 50 years ago, now a senior in San Diego, California. If only I had the opportunity to have stayed in Eire, but I had to better myself and emigrate. USA has been very good to me and I was able to better myself through education. God Bless the free world. w
