Irish Distillers Plant in Midleton, Co. Cork In 1975, Irish Distillers opened one of the most modern distilleries in the World, in Midleton Co. Cork. This distillery has a capacity for 7 million proof gallons of whiskey and facilities for producing gin and vodka. One of the features of the Midleton distillery is the acres given over to warehousing. Once the whiskey is produced, it is stored in casks in vast warehouses until mature. © Irish Distillers Ltd.
